I was at a crossroads myself after a lifelong (65 years) search for Truth. At the end of the day it came down to authenticity, genuineness and a Faith that had withstood the tests of time. The Soul must be awoken before it's claimed. To awaken the Soul you must withdraw from the noise of the word, with its shams and lies. Once awoken, the Soul consumes the host consciousness and the two become one. I and the father are one, means this exactly.

Can you show me how this supernatural creativity and intelligence flows through you? I see a man of strong conviction - yes. But I don’t see a man who is in communion with all powerful deity. What will I talk so deeply with a man who doesn't have a child? I mean sure, Church Fathers, Praying habits, etc but how much really can I share and relate with a non-parent? How much can he really understand me? More and more people are becoming Orthodox, yes, but the population decline continues.

Isn't faith a gift of Grace? Or can I create faith within myself? I don't understand why Jesus rebukes those who are faithless. Can they actually help it whether they have faith or not? I know that I haven't been able to force myself to have faith, nor have many people that I know.

The Catholic and the Orthodox Church have very much the same beliefs and practices but as i understand it the Orthodox is stricter. The have their own set of Saints (although we do share many) and they pray to Mary, their services last around 2 hours and in some Orthodox Churches you are expected to stand the entire time (if your physically able to). They recite prayers that are very long, and the have the Holy Eucharist ( which is handmade by parishioners btw) . And its a 6month -1 year time period to convert. You must be serious to do this its not a trendy thing. And the way you laughed at the end of this video? Im Catholic and im offended by it. The Orthodox take their religion very seriously, and they expect a reverence when discerning any new Catechumin .

Brother, I am fully with you in awareness that the tragedy will be any single soul lost, and not brought into eternity in heaven (thank God I have at least touched this remembering for he know's I am a sick mess in myriad other ways). We want the redemption and homecoming of every single one of us. (For me, I hope this even includes animals, as I have known and lost at least a few who I love deeply). God bless you brother. I loved this. But I don’t understand the feud between orthodox, catholic and Protestants. Protestants are the result of the sins of orthodox and Catholicism. They shouldn’t be treated as anything less than Christian if the the OGs can’t do it either. Denomination wars are toxic and feed into the whole “I’m going to heaven you’re not” mentality and yet you brought it up. I mean this as a philosophical question not an accusation. How can orthodoxy and condemn Protestantism when they created it? Lutheranism for example split from the Vatican for charging people for forgiveness
